Polarized or Tinted Lenses?
Polarized lenses block a lot more glare than a tinted lens.
A tinted lens is dark but a polarized lens is dark and filters reflected glare on horizontal surfaces.
  Think reduced glare on: the hood or trunk of a car or drastically improved clarity while fishing or building a snow fort.

If you already wear a polarized lens we recommend sticking with it.

We have over a dozen options of bright and colorful polarized lenses including gradients and 15+ shiny mirror coatings for fashion or enhanced visibility in specific environments.

Photochromic lenses (Transitions) are not a replacement for sunglasses, at least not here in sunny Houston. Most of our customers who try a photochromic lens specifically tell us they still wear a separate pair of sunglasses.
